- 2 mL gives 2.5 mg/mL, so a 0.25 mg dose is 0.1 mL — the 10-unit mark on a U-100 syringe. Many people prefer this because early doses land on clean, easy-to-read marks.
- How many doses are in a 5 mg semaglutide vial?
- At 0.25 mg per week the vial holds 20 doses, at 0.5 mg it holds 10 and at 1 mg it holds 5.
- How do you calculate a peptide dose after reconstitution?
- Divide the peptide in the vial (mg) by the bacteriostatic water you added (mL) to get mg/mL. Then divide your dose by that concentration to get the volume to draw, and multiply by 100 for the mark on a U-100 insulin syringe.
